Dear Membership,

Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving and will enjoy a safe Halloween.

This newsletter brings with it sad, but not totally unexpected news. It’s with heavy hearts that the Social Club Executive has decided to Cancel our Comedy Night that was planned for Oct 23 along with Cancelling our Annual Christmas Party again this year as well. These discussions don’t come easy for us, but seeing as how things don’t seem to be getting any better and with the Provincial Government constantly changing COVID Protocols, we were left with no choice but to cancel all our events that we have planned till into the new year.

With all that being said, we did manage to hold 2 COVID Friendly events this year. We had a Family friendly Car Rally May 29 and hosted a Drive Inn Movie Night on June 19 with strict adherence to all AHS COVID Protocols.

I know some of you questioned why certain things were asked of you when you had to register and I’d like to take this opportunity to explain that during these times our Insurance provider and AHS make us follow certain guidelines in order to host events and if we don’t comply we can’t host the event.

What to expect in the New Year you ask?

For starters, we will be having our AGM sometime towards the end of February. Whether this will once again be a Zoom Virtual Meeting or in fact a live Meeting will be determined closer to the date.

As far as the Car Rally, Comedy Night, Christmas Party and other events planned for 2022, all are in the planning stages or have been planned and we are just awaiting a time for when we can all be in the same room together and Safe.

Please check our website at myetsc.org or follow us on Facebook for all the information on upcoming events.
